I feel like I could go on and on about what has happened between me and my husband during the almost 5 years we have been married. But it boils down to this... he has been viewing, reading and listening to heterosexual and homosexual pornography the whole time we've been married, and well before we were married. I only found out about this in January (2010). You could have knocked me down with a feather! NEVER would I have thought my wonderful husband would be this guy. And, worse, I was married for 8 years in my twenties to a man who did ALL the same things. I am so at a loss. I am attracted to my husband. I enjoy sex and our sexual relationship. I'm mid-thirties and not bad looking. Help! When I'm not actually in prayer receiving comfort from God I get really scared and discouraged. My husband had a long-term phone and email relationship with one particular man. He also went to pornography theaters in town where men are know to "meet". Does this mean he's gay? Do people (men) ever TRULY recover from these kind of choices and images? I feel like they will be in his mind forever. I feel like he may not be able to have a physical relationship with me without thinking of "him". Any advice would be so much appreciated! |
